THE AWAITED clash between Bigman In Town and Teniente Coronel in the 1,200-metre Santa Rosa Dash will not take place on Labour Day. Four horses, Bigman In Town, Control Unit, Holy Man and Whisper Light were entered.
The postponement of the race has been met with bitter disappointment by owners of most of the four horses entered. The race is now scheduled to be run off on July 8.
Bigman In Town’s owner, Baskaran Bassawh openly lashed out the decision taken by the new management committee headed by the Arima Race Club’s Peter Acham in the ARC’s paddock on Wednesday morning.
